Our gratitude for your prayers and wishes to 2008

Dear friends.

Blessings.
Phil. 1:3

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas season with all the blessings of our Lord Jesus.
In this final year, we just want to express our love and gratitude for your life and prayers supporting our ministry. We are fully grateful to you and to God because we are participating in something really blessed by the merciful God.

Mevic is now an amazing example and hope for the Portuguese church because it's a mission agency with 9 missionaries in 5 areas of the world (Lisbon, Azores, Mexico, Brasil, Guinea-Bissau). What we never thought, it’s happened! Mevic it's also a platform to support national projects like a E-Learning project (Teofilos) to give bible training to the Portuguese speaking world and Global Mission 2015, from the Evangelical Alliance, which we serve doing the financial management. We also serve as facilitator to projects in Morocco (Charles Young and Kirks) and we manage the Global Leadership Summit, a great event to infuse the Portuguese leadership with a renewed vision.

The Global Mission 2015 vision, from the Portuguese Evangelical Alliance, is becoming part of the DNA of a big number of leaders and we are so happy to see that the church is taking serious the fact that we still need to invest in church planting especially in the 42 cities in the country with no church. This new year we will receive a new colleague to help us in training to go forward with this vision. In March we will set the national goals, giving by each denomination, in terms of church planting and world missions. We will be praying together to submit all this to our Lord.

In the Baptist Theological Seminary, we have the biggest number of students since we started in 1969. Its amazing the impact of this 64 students committed with missions in the marketplace, pastoral ministry, evangelism, church planting, world missions, etc. We hope to receive in 2008 more helpers in terms of faculty members and staff.

In Dawn Latin Europe, in 2008, we will continue to establish contacts to have a similar vision of Global Mission 2015 in Spain, Italy and Luxemburg. It’s not easy but we had seen new things happen in Spain and Italy this last year, so we believe God will help us because it’s His ministry not our ministry.

We renew our commitment to you and especially to God to be good stewards of all the investment in the Kingdom through our ministry. Your prayers will be absolutely determinant to fulfill our purposes. One day you will see the eternal benefit of your participation. We feel very honor to receive your confidence and trust.

We ask you prayers for the following months which seems to be very busy and important for the advance of some areas of our ministry. Just let me share some of this activities:
